What are the hours of operation?

The wellness center facility will open at 5:00 AM and close at 9:00PM daily, Monday thru Friday, and 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday. Wellness center will be closed on Sundays.

How do I sign up for membership?

Come by the J. Cleo Thompson Wellness Center at 103 Medical Dr. in Ozona during our regular hours of operation, obtain and complete a membership packet, and pay the appropriate membership fee for your age group and payment frequency (monthly, semi-annually or annually).

Who is eligible for membership at the wellness center?

Members must be 18+ years old, complete the membership application and agreement, and be willing to participate at their own risk. In some cases a physician’s statement may be required.

What forms of payment do you accept?

JCT Wellness Center accepts cash, check, debit card, credit card, and  electronic payments. Once membership is established, members may pay their fees online once they install our Mindbody mobile app portal to the Mindbody software system.

Why am I charged for membership fees for months I do not workout or attend classes at the wellness center.

Month-to-month contracts are available but the Mindbody software system defaults to a perpetual monthly contract. Please indicate your preference to the staff for a single month, monthly with automatic renuwal, semi-annual, or annual contract in the membership packet when you became a member.

Will my insurance company cover the membership fees?

While there are some insurance companies that will pay the wellness center directly for membership fees, some employers and others will reimburse members directly after they have presented receipts for your wellness center/gym expenses, and others do not reimburse at all. You will need to contact your respective health insurance company to determine your eligibility. Click here for more information.

How do I cancel my membership?

Members are expected communicate with staff member on duty about their projected termination. Termination is immediate or can be set up to terminate on a swpecific date. We ask that members return locker keys and key tags at the time of termination. Refunds for partial payment periods cannot be given and membership will terminate on the final day for which the membership payment was made or otherwise stipulated..

When is the swimming pool available?

Pool will be available when not being used for aquatics classes from 5:30 AM until 8:00 PM, Monday thru Friday, and 8:30 to noon on Saturday.

Will towels be provided?

Yes… there are hand towels for working out and bath towels and wash cloths for shower.

Do you offer group exercise classes?

Yes, all classes are included in your membership fee and you can plan, sign-up, schedule, and view classes in which you are interested. Download the JCT Wellness Center app and portal from your preferred app store (Apple App and Google Play), follow the prompts to download and install the app, and you can view the classes in which you are interested.

 

Can we have guests?

Yes. Guests are welcomed and will be charged a nominal fee of $10.00 per day.

Will I have to continue paying for my membership if I should suddenly be required by a doctor or physician to refrain from physical activity for a long period of time?

No. Notify staff about your upcoming absence and your membership will be placed on hold until further notice.
